Ricordi d'Italia

Simply beautiful.
When I visit Italy, I am often so overwhelmed by being surrounded with beauty in such everyday things, that I can't quite absorb or see it all. After I return home and revisit pictures, menus or momentos, it gives me a sense of place and shows me some of the sublties that were hidden to me in the original moment. Simple things, such as store marquees and limestone cobbled streets, speak to the simplicity and elegance and beauty the Italians love and live with everyday. It is many hundred years' worth of craftsmanship, artistic vision and expression . It is one of the many reasons why I am in love with Italy.
